Within the framework of the initiatives for the year of Zayed 2018, a blood donation campaign was organized in collaboration with the Blood Bank of Saqr Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah under the slogan “Hayat” initiative on Tuesday, 3 April 2018.

The campaign was targeted collecting large quantities of blood for patients in need and was supervised by an Emirati medical team of experienced nurses and doctors.

The donations were made by providing a bus specified for this purpose with all medical needs and conforming to technical specifications and international standards.

Large number of male / female employees participated in the campaign as blood donation is considered great humanitarian act and help in saving the lives of thousands of patients who are in dire need of transfusion and at the same time does not cause harm to the health of the donor.
